There are people and religions and all sorts of things that will tell you, if you're just a good person, that's all it takes. And you'll go to heaven. When you die, whenever Jesus comes, whatever, you'll go to heaven. Let me tell you, just being a good person, that's not where it's at. Yes, we need to be kind. Yes, we need to be nice. Yes, we need to have those qualities. But only the blood of Jesus qualifies us for a place in heaven. It is through the name and power and blood and redemption and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross in our place for our sin. And that is the only thing that qualifies us to make a home in heaven. I want to encourage you today. Put your trust in Jesus. Put your hope in Jesus. Make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life.
