The Lord wants you to truly know Him, to discover who He is. Not to take what other people have said about Him or what you think you've heard about Him, but for you to discover Him for yourself. To discover that God is not an angry God, He's not a mean God or an unjust God or overbearing God who's just waiting to pounce on you, but to know that God is your Heavenly Father, that He loves you so very much. That's why He's given you a purpose. That's why there's a plan for your life. That's why He sent Jesus to the cross for your sake and for your sin. Get to know God and enjoy God. You can come into His presence and find that there's fullness of joy at His right hand, that in the presence of the Lord is everything you need, and God will prove Himself faithful and show you His love.
